Spoonman Creations, Ltd. has come a long way since 1971 when Mike made his first spoon ring.
Armed with a rawhide hammer and a pair of metal shears, Mike looked around until he found a metal table leg that could be used as a mandrel.
Mike sold his rings at a few craft fairs and flea markets in the Salem, Oregon area those first years, and when Portland Saturday (Sunday too) Market opened in 1974, he was ready.
Mike is one of the few original vendors still at the Portland Market.
Spoonman Creations is best experienced in person, so look for us at the Portland Saturday (Sunday too) Market if you have the chance, and check out the craft fairs we plan on attending.
We still make spoon rings, and we've added new creations every year. This online catalog is a sampling of our favorite creations.
We want out customers to like our creations as much as we do, so this is our guarantee:
If it breaks or is not what you expected, return it to us for a repair, exchange, or refund.
Mike, Deb, & Eric
Portland Saturday (Sunday too) Market has moved! Most of the Market, at least. The parking lot under the bridge where you've found us for so many years is now again just a parking lot under the bridge. To find us, get off the MAX at the same stop, head toward the river. Spoonman is under the new Pavilion in Tom McCall Waterfront Park.
We like our new spot. We've got more room. You won't be so crowded when you come to see us. Pictures coming soon....

June at Spoonman
Spoonman will be traveling to Seattle for the Fremont Solstice Fair June 20 - 21. Celebrate this summer and "come together to shop, eat, drink, perform, smile, dance, run, converse, debate, groove and parade."
July at Spoonman
Summer is here and brings with it some lazy days and parades. Whether you are part of a parade this Fourth of July or just watching one, you need the appropriate attention getting eyewear.
See the fireworks thru our Peacock or Bug Eyes Eyewear. Or perhaps the UFO Encounter or OnLine Eyewear with their retractable antenna will get you better reception.
If your summer has a few lazy days while you wait to harvest the garden, you can't have too many wind chimes singing music with every gentle breeze or ringing in the background of the latest summer storm. Check out our Butterfly, Dragonfly and Hummingbird Chimes.
